Geeze, haven't updated in a while.  Besides being busy with work, I've been praticing my artwork and that's taken a lot of time.

So busy lately!  I have a ton of administrative duties to catch up on, and now’s the time to do it.  I’m in hyperspace for the next 10 days.  Yay.  I’m also taking a course for management skills.  It’s being taught by a Munn, and he’s about as exciting as watching dust settle on my screen.  I hope to get a bit better at managing my workers so it doesn’t take them 3 weeks to build an outhouse.  Well, the class is only a few weeks long, so I hope I actually learn something.

On the way back from my trip, I’m finally picking up my other ship, the Corellian Sunrise.  Finally!!!  I had her re-painted purple and gold, some of my favorite colors.

Well, back to the paperwork!

I had to wait the good part of a weekend because a customer told me to deliver his items at a orbiting lifepod.  First, they are a pain to dock on, being so small, you give the slightest bump to them before you dock they go spinning off in another direction.  Their RCS thrusters aren’t all that powerful.

Second, they’re a pain to see.  Being small enough to carry one person with enough life support to get them to the nearest planet makes for a tiny target.

Finally, when you get docked and ready to load, putting a crate in them is a pain in the ass.  Imagine my surprise then the door would barely close with one crate inside.  I had three more crates to load and and no more lifepods to load them into!

So I contacted him and waited.  And waited.  Finally, last night he got in touch with me and assigned enough of those damn things to offload my cargo.

I jumped out of there as fast as I could now I’m back home, ready to do some real work!

Okay, so that took about a 1/3 off my trip.  Now I dropped the ships off at Shownar II, and I hopped in mine and I have a delivery to make.  Hyperspace again.  At least now I'm in the Blue Streak and it's only a day out and a day back.

To speed things up, I’m going to try a micro jump for the first time.  I know I’ll end up on the far side of the system from Shownar II when I come out of hyper, so I’ll jump to the other side and be almost there.

This YV-666 is just too much of a slug to move that fast.  I really miss flying my Blue Streak.  This trip would have taken almost half the time to get there, but then I couldn’t carry those 4 other ships with me along with other cargo.

Okay, coming out of hyper in 3...2...1...
